How do you get the vacuum to stand on its own?
Not on its own, the charging base would be installed on a wall using basic screw and anchor set up and then the vacuum inserts into it.
What replacement battery is needed for the 23Kpa vacuum?

what is the difference in model K-17 & K-17F
Great question!
Except the tube and accessories equipped, they are with the same Main motor, same floor brush and same strong suction design.

Should I leave this on charge or just charge 4 hours & then take it off?
I leave mine plugged in and mounted on a wall. If you are concerned check with MOOSOO Customer Service. They are very helpful.The initial time of 4 hours is typical of a complete charge from a fully discharged state.
Is there a replacement battery I can purchase?
I’m not sure but so far I haven’t run out of power on my 3 level house. Most of my floors are hard wood either a few area rugs. But I do have a dog with lots of dog hair to vaccum
Is there a charger to charge a second battery while not in machine?
You still need to plug in the vacuum to charge. No need for a 2nd charger. And I didn't get a 2nd battery either. Am I supposed to get 2 batteries? I only got one.
Do you have to hold down a button while using this like you do on a Dyson cordless?
No, you don't need to hold down the button, just hit the button to turn on an that's it. This vacuum is better than the Dyson, not just in price but also performance (but that's just my opinion)
How long can it work without cord attached?
There is no cord, this vacuum is cordless. It can run up to 20 to 25mins on the low setting an about 15 to 17 mins on the high setting. I also bought an extra battery cause I have a large house. I love this vacuum, I believe you'll love it to
