Can it clean the carpet very clean?

I doubt it would deep clean a thick carpet, but I can some light beige, flat pile, carpet runners and it cleans the surface of those very well. It gets the dog hair and surface debris off and brightens them up again. I set it on high suction for this.

Are you supposed to remove the netting that covers the dust filter?

Yes leave the netting on. Otherwise the dust filter will clog too fast. Consider it a 2 stage filter. The 1st stage (netting) collects the large particles such as hair, etc. The 2nd stage (dust filter) inside is exactly that., a filter for the smaller particles. The netting can be run under the faucet to clean. Not sure if the dust filter can go under water. I bang it clean in my trash can.

How long is the alloy tube only ?

The alloy tube is 20 1/4 inches long. However there is plastic molded connectors on both ends to total 27 2/16 inches. Now to take it one step further. There are screws attaching the plastic connectors to the alloy tube. The alloy tube is actually 23 inches on the interior of the plastic connectors.

Can you leave the unit plugged in at all times, or will it harm the battery? Seems if it’s left unplugged, it doesn’t maintain a full charge.

Ours is only about a month old. We only plug it in to charge when the battery light is low. We use it on the lighter speed every evening in our kitchen, dining, and living room. We have vinyl flooring so I only have to use the faster speed on rugs or heavy soiled areas. Our charge lasts us about a week and so far we have no problems with it holding a charge. Again - we have only had ours about a month.

Does pet hair stick up on the roller or is the roller self cleaning. Alsodoes it comes with other attachmants?

Yes, pet hair gets stuck on the roller. It comes with a short attachment that has a brush tip and the main pole releases so that you can vacuum high places.

How do I reattach filter?After emptying it after 1st use the filter is loose,won't pop back in place. Just sits loose in unit,but it still turns on.

STEP：1 Reverse the machine.

2 Put in HEPA.

3 Cover HEPA with the filter cover.

4 Match the polygonal hole at the bottom of the filter cover with the polygonal column, so that the the bottom of the filter cover flat and sealed.

5 Screw the filter cup clockwise until it is fixed.

How does this compare to a dyson?

I had a cordless Dyson vacuum, but it is too expensive, and it's not as strong as I expected, so I am disappointed with the Dyson vacuum. Then I bought this stick vacuum thinking it will be better, and it is. All the attachments are useful and easy to attach and remove from the vacuum. I am very happy with this purchase.

Can I clean the filter with an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner?

To avoid being damaged by ravages, we can wash the HEPA filter with water simply.

It is a nice vacuum - very similar to a cordless Dyson but a bit lighter is construction and about 1/6 the cost. My cleaning lady loved it because it was so light and powerful. I purchased a second unit for my camper.
